Less than 24 hours to go!!!

We hope everyone enjoyed THANKSGIVING!!! We sure did! This year we had a tamale making party at our cousins Mark & Amber's and then we ended our day with the traditional Thanksgiving dinner at Papa & Amalia'a home. Everything was delicious!!! We have so many things to be thankful for; our health, family, and most of all Brent's safe return home!
As I am updating our blog it is now less than 13 hours until Brent will be home. I don't think I am going to be able to sleep tonight. I have so many things I want to get done before Brent comes home. With Chris & Jamie's help, we hung up all of the "welcome home" banners outside. We even have a banner hanging at the 215 N freeway on the Murrieta Hot Springs overpass. In the morning we will be decorating the windows on our vehicles with special welcome home messages. Brent is going to have one of the most patriotic families at the pier to greet him - I can't wait to see the big SMILE on his face.
Stay tuned for the welcome home pictures. For now here are some new pictures for you to enjoy!

The ladies hard at work making the delicious tamales............YUMMY!!!

We are officially down to the last week of deployment - HORRRAAAYY!!!

Next week at this time our Brent will be back home with us - we can't wait! Unfortunately he won't be home in time for THANKSGIVING, but that is okay because we will just have a special dinner for him when he comes home!!! The girls and I have already started decorating the inside of the house with our X-MAS decor. Once Brent arrives home I am going to do my best to convince him to put up our lights outside. After the past six months - I bet he will enjoy putting up the lights more than ever this year.........at least I hope so! :-)

Happy 4th Birthday to our little buddy Cayden!!! It seems like it was just yesterday when Brent and I went to visit Chris and Jamie at the hospital to welcome their new little bundle of joy......WOW - how time flies. As always, we had a great time at Cayden's Mickey Mouse Club House party. To end our weekend we went with Cayden to see the new Disney movie BOLT - a very cute kids flick!
We wish everyone a WONDERFUL short week at work and HAPPY THANKSGIVING too!

Until next time XOXOXOXO!!!

I LOVE YOU this much DADDY!!!

OMG...........only two more weeks for sure!!!

I can't even describe the excitement I am feeling. As I have said before this is the part of being a military wife that is so wonderful - the homecoming celebration!!! Brent will for sure be home two weeks from today. There is still a slight chance for him to catch a plane home from Hawaii and be home as early as next Friday. It still seems like such a long time to Hannah & Savannah, but DADDY will be home before we know it.

Brent sent home some new pictures to share. I believe these pictures were taken for the HOWARD cruise book - very similar to our old year books, remember those??? The first picture is of Brent's Division resembling an old fashion NAVY photo. The second picture is the VBSS Strike Team aboard the USS HOWARD. This is the team that will board the ships with the crazy pirates when needed............SCARY!!!!

Ahhhh..............there is my handsome hubby!!!

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL weekend and stays cool in this crazy warm weather we are having here in California!!! Stay tuned for our next update................HUGS!!!

THANK YOU Brenty!!!

We hope everyone who had today off in observance of
Veteran's Day enjoyed the day! THANK YOU Brenty
for serving our country - we love you!!!

Today the girls and I went to visit their friends at their old daycare facility. They were having so much fun they wanted to stay & play for the day. Mommy was able to get lots of errands done!

We are getting so EXCITED for daddy to come home! We do not have an exact date yet, but it will possibly be sometime during Thanksgiving week. Our fingers are crossed for daddy to be home before Thanksgiving so he can enjoy a delicious home cooked meal with us.

I am sooooo happy to share that we have finally received Brent's new orders - Brent will be stationed in San Diego for shore duty HOOORRRRAAAAYYYY!!!
This is such wonderful news for our family. We were becoming very anxious not knowing if we were going to have to pack up and move to another state in April. We are so blessed as a military family. So many of our military friends are not fortunate like we are to live within driving distance of our family.

Here are some pictures of the girls and I modeling the shirts we have made to wear the day daddy returns home. We hope you enjoy and have a great week!!!!

We look forward to seeing you really soon DADDY!!!!!

XOXOXOXOXOX........

Halloween has come and gone!

Today Brent called home to say he will be returning home sometime during the week of Nov. 17th - WOOOOHOOO!!! The time is getting so close and this is the part of being a military wife that is so great! The butterflies in my tummy have let loose just like when Brent and I first met. :-) I can't wait to share pictures of Brent returning home.
The girls and I have had a fun week. I can't believe Halloween has already come and gone. Below are some pictures of our week for you to ENJOY!

The girls had a HALLOWEEN Performance at school. Savannah was the typical shy little girl and Hannah was ready to show off. Both were just so HAPPY to have mommy there to watch!

On Halloween the girls and I spent the evening at Papa's house with our little cowboy buddy "AJ". We had lots of fun trick-or-treating! Hannah wore her bride costume and Savannah was dressed as a pretty little China doll.

Uncle Paul (surfer dude) and me having fun being silly!

Me again with Uncle Paul and Papa.......Papa just recently gave us all a big scare with his angeo-seal procedure. Thank goodness no further heart procedures are needed to be done!

On Saturday Savannah and mommy did a girls one-on-one day. We went to Starbucks, got our nails painted and then went to the Build A Bear Workshop. We had a fun day together! Hannah stayed with Papa and AJ. :-)

This afternoon we painted welcome home signs and shirts for DADDY. A great BIG thank you to Aunt Jamie & Uncle Chris for letting us make a mess in their garage. It was so much fun!!!

This particular sign will be hung from one of our local freeway over passes for DADDY to see during his ride home. The rest will be used to decorate our house with a great big WELCOME HOME!!!

Until our next update - lots of HUGS..........
