Szychulda Family Halloween Bash

It was the perfect evening for a Halloween Party. The weather man said there was a chance for showers, but the weather cooperated and stayed cleared until the early morning hours. Not one person dared to arrive without a costume, it was great!!!

We are already looking forward to next years Halloween Bash!!! ;)

Where did our summer of 2010 go???

Goodness, it has been a long time since I have updated our family blog. Now that so many of our friends and family are on facebook I feel that the blog is just a repeat, but I forget that not everyone is on facebook. :-) So I am going to continue on with updating our blog....................so much has happened since our last update. I am not even sure where to begin.

As crazy as real estate can be, we have continued with it. It can be frustrating at times, but we can't beat the flexibility that comes with it. Our referrals are what keep us going......so a big THANK YOU to everyone who has bought a home with us, or simply referred us! :-)

This past summer break came and went so quickly. We had a GREAT summer enjoying some mini vacations with our girls. Although we did not get around to doing everything we had planned to, it still turned out to be another memorable summer..........just not long enough.

I can't believe the girls have already started a new school year. Hannah is now in first grade, and Savannah has started Kindergarten. They were both very excited, and so far they like their teachers. I feel so fortunate to be able to drop the girls off and pick them up each day. I just love to see the smile on their sweet little faces when they see their mama walking up. :-)

Brent celebrated his 12th year in the NAVY on August 3rd. Wow, it seems like it was just yesterday when Brent's parents and I dropped Brent off for boot camp. The six weeks he was gone felt like forever. Twelve years later we have survived several months apart, and two six months deployments. I am so thankful deployment days are over for now! Brent has received his official day to discharge............woohoo! We have a whole new adventure ahead of us. I am looking forward to see exactly what it will be!

HaPpY nEw YeAr!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!! Wow.........another year has passed, and 2010 is here! When I look back on this past year, I just can't believe how fast it has gone by. We have so many wonderful things to be thankful for. The one thing I am most thankful for is we had Brent home with us the entire year. Brent and I keep saying 2010 is going to go by even faster than last year. Especially since Brent has made the decision to make this his last year in the NAVY. So needless to say, we have several changes ahead of us. I have no doubt they will all be for the better of our family........I am EXCITED!!!

On Dec. 19th our baby girl, Hannah, turned "6"...........goodness, she is going to be a teenager before we know it.

We have been spending any extra time we have at Abuelo & Abuela's cabin in Big Bear. It has been so great to be able to escape our daily hustle & bustle to relax by their cozy fireplace enjoying movies in the evening, and playing in the snow during the day. This was our second year to celebrate X-MAS and New Years Eve at "The Szychulda Chalet". It was great!

On Dec. 27th Brent and I celebrated our 11 year Wedding Anniversary in Dana Point. Thank you to Abuelo & Abuela for taking the girls so we could have a romantic get away! It was so nice to have some one on one time & reminisce on our past 13 years together. I am so grateful to have Brent as my husband, and father of our girls.
