Summer Time

I have been thinking about blogging for quite some time now. After receiving regular blog updates from our friends Ryan & Brooke it has motivated me to do one for our family. I think this will be such a great way to share pictures of the girls growing up with our family and friends. Thanks Ryan and Brooke!

Well I am happy to share that we are almost at the midway point of Brent's six month deployment.....yeah!!! This deployment has been such an experience. Maya and I had the opportunity to meet Brent & Rob in Hong Kong for three days. Although it was a short trip it was definitely worth the long flight to see Brent. The Navy has given both of us the opportunity to travel to places we would not have gone to before if it wasn't for the Navy sending Brent. Sadly to say, Brent's amazing Abuela passed away the day after I returned home from Hong Kong. Surprisingly Brent was able to return home for nine days to be with the family. The girls and I were so thrilled to have daddy home! We are counting down the weeks until daddy returns again on our writing board in the kitchen, 16 more to go.

The girls and I have been keeping very busy while their daddy has been away. Hannah and Savannah just started a new school called; Murrieta Ranch Preschool. They are having so much fun and are so excited to go every morning. Soon their good friend Cayden will be joining them at the Ranch. When I asked Hannah what she likes the most about her new school, she answered "eating from real silverware". I would never have thought that would be so important to a four year old. Savannah loves all of the animals.

Every Saturday the girls attend swim lessons and are doing such a great job developing their swimming skills. They can both float all by themselves now.

Mommy was very brave to take the girls to the beach today. We had so much fun besides mommy getting stung by a bee. I think we will do it again next weekend.
We hope everyone is having a great summer! Talk to you all soon.
