One of my best friends "Jamie" did something very special for me last night. She planned a surprise party for me and kept it a secret.......I can't believe it! I had no idea what she had planned so I was totally surprised to walk in a see all my girlfriends!!!
Here is the adorable poem Jamie sent out for the invite.
It's hard enough to say good-bye, And to know that time
will crawl and NOT quickly fly.
Falling asleep every night without him there,
With nothing to comfort her and dry her tear.
Gripping her pillow and longing for his touch,
As she cries to his picture, "I miss you so much."
The phone rings and she prays his voice to hear,
Her heart skips a beat, it almost feels like he’s near.
She cherishes every phone call as if it were their last,
Reminiscing the good times and longing for the past.
For he has her heart and forever always will,
There's an emptiness inside her that only he can fill.
But as her friends we can stand by her side,
Show her some fun and help the time go by.
